Belt oil skimmers operate on a motor and pulley system to attract oil and other hydrocarbon liquids from the water’s surface using the differences in specific gravity and surface tension between oil and water. Running across the top of the liquid, the skimmer simply and effectively removes floating oil for efficient surface oil extraction.
